My bike came with a tts master tune and the bike has se stage 1 air filter and s&s easy start cams 583 and s&s head pipes and reinhart mufflers and the dyno sheet says 86 hp and 111 tq . So my question is will my bike gain more hp and tq with a screaming eagle tuner or will it be more of the tech knowing how to get the goods out of the tuner ?
Thanks
Mike

I believe the TTS is one the best tuners you can buy. Just download their software using their updater: mastertune.net/downloads

You can road tune it to perfection using TTS Mastertune.

Mike- Your HP gain is just about right (see mine below) I would not change from the TTS to the SE If I were you, (just my opinion). The SE tuner won't get you anything extra plus your at the mercy of HD's Tech Dept. and they vary in skills greatly!!!!! You're fine where you are.

Keep the tts. I have the pcv and after doing the research I should have went with tts . tts give you more options.

From your signature :112.9 tq @ 3300 and 86.5 hp @ 4800

Max power should be at a much higher rpm than 4800??

Thanks guys for your replys I looked again at the dyno sheet and it's 4800 rpm that's why I was asking about using a different tuner, I would post a pic but I've had problems doing it .

From the S&S website:

#581 torque cam pulls from idle to 4000 rpm

#583 midrange cam pulls from 1500 to 5000 rpm

#585 horsepower cam pulls from 3000 to 6000 rpm

There are dyno charts on the website.
I think your right where you need to be

I still say 4800 is low for peak power. Here is some data from S&S posted at Harley TechTalk. It's for a 110" motor.
