Scott- I'm Army too but I love this guy!
 
Mojo- I've had a couple buddies who have met him, said he's a great guy and hilarious too. Love watching his show, and the bloopers are priceless.
 
The 4.5 minute opening sequence to Full Metal Jacket wasn't actually scripted or rehearsed, Ermy did this on his own and the director loved it! When I was in Boot camp, we had FIVE DI's like him fresh back from Vietnam combat . . . . . .

Love that movie. We must have done Basic around the same time, all my DI's were back from there and our 1SG was a Ranger (actual BN guy not just a tabber), biggest SOB I'd ever seen and looked/acted like he ate napalm 3x a day. Ah the good old days ;)
