I get it... The OutSourcing Horse is long out of the barn. It just pisses me off that our Country has Lost so many quality crafted products and craftman to outside country's to save a buck.. Pennies in most cases.

The Rust Belt in Pitts.. Seeing this sort of thing truly makes me mad.. Throwing away our production capability was a huge mistake and disservice to America.. Off soapbox now.. Just trying to clear bullcrap from the head

That's funny, and I'll tell you why...

I'm studying Geography right now, all about the spatial relations of it all, and while we were involved with the "Americas", I learned that these drug cartels are manipulating all of the NAFTA facilities around the border and using their manufactured products to smuggle the cocaine in. Interesting stuff!!

Better check your parts...you might be sitting in a gold mine!!! Hahaha!!

I bought a new 1990 Softail Custom and began making mods. I removed the speedometer, and it had a label "Made in Japan"......1990. I was told by the dealer that 10% of the new Harley's were Jap. I wonder what the percentages are today?

Looked around, and found an interesting article from last year comparing Harley and Polaris.

Estimates are 60%-70% American made, per the article. But as my uncle, who worked at the plant here in York since the 70's, always said..."All we do here is paint 'em and put all the [foreign] parts together".
