I'm getting noise on my 07 flhx from the rear and i thought it was the worn out tire. Replaced the tire and the noise is still there. My passenger sings along with it when we slow down. She lets out the "woo woo woo woo woo" as we come to a stop. Nice i know. Could it be the drive belt? Any one else have the issue and solve it? (and i don't mean the passenger singing problem, haha!) Have a goodn and speed safely!

Willy-
I've seen instances where the rear wheel is adjusted out of line ever so slightly and the drive belt edge sets up a pitch from rubbing against the belt guard attached to the metal sprocket on the rear wheel.

By the way . . . . WELCOME to SGF!

Thank you for the welcoming! Me and a buddy looked at the belt and theres no sign of wear on the belt. So i rolled it up to about 20-30 mph and shut it off to see if i could hear it better. Now i'm not positive it's in the rear at all! I can still hear the pitch in the rear but i can feel the vibration in my feet on the boards with the engine off and rolling. Weird. I'll keep checking things out but if anyone has experienced it i welcome your thoughts. Thanks!

Other thing might be the source of the noise such as Compensator or Stator (inside Derby cover), etc.

No sir. Just replaced both front and rear. Used the great deal that Harley is running on Dunlops. Got both tires mounted for 400. Harley is giving a $50 rebate too so both tires mounted end up at $350.00. Couldn't pass it up. I think it's still running for a little while longer too.

Thanks Mojo! I'll give it a look. Y'all are very helpful here and i appreciate it!
