Replacement clutch switch to fix start only in neutral

My clutch switch within the left hand hand control has failed.

Has anyone replaced the clutch switch which is encased in resin rather than pay £250 for a new unit.

That also controls part of the cruise control too. You just cant buy the switch.

Same issue with my 2015 SGS. Dealer has to replace entire left hand control module since it is all tied into the CANBUS system. Part alone costs $220, just glad I have ESP coverage through April 2020.
