I have the Rockford Fosgate kit on my ‘18 SGS. It's been installed and working great for about a month. Yesterday I went out to the garage and heard a noise coming from the bike. After checking and pulling the fairing I found it was the fan of the amp. No lights are on, but the fan is running. When you turn the accessories on the amp fires up as normal, but the fan stops. I turned the accessories off again and the fan came back on instantly. I pulled the fuse and it stopped. I put the fuse back and it came on instantly. The bike hasn't been ridden in 48 hours.
This morning i went out to the garage and it was still running. This time I pulled the remote lead. I turned the accessories on and the amp did not come on but the fan stayed on. I turned off the accessories, replaced the remote lead and turned on again. The amp came on and the fan turned off.
I’ve contacted RF but since only yesterday so I haven’t heard back yet.
Any suggestions?
