Got the S&S Grand National slip on mufflers installed. Once very nice feature is they have what are referred to as decibel killers in the cans, which can be removed via three the set screws in the tips.
I am still waiting to get the heat shields back from the powder coat shop. I wanted them to match the muffler finish, so I asked S&S what the color code was and they said It was Cerakote Glacier Black -C7600. It is supposed to withstand 2K degrees temperatures, so there shouldn't be a problem with heat on the right side. For now I am running the stock header with cat installed.
