S&S Oil Pump and Cam Chest Cover

Can anybody who has fitted an upgraded oil pump to a M8 advise if the cam/lifters /pushrods need to be removed to install pump and cam chest cover.

ie: would I need quick install push rod kit and cam bearing and cam chest gasket etc as well.

I have some conflicting advice on this front.

Some wisdom would be appreciated

Yes you need to remove your pushrods,cam and lifters to remove your.cam plate and oil pump.if you remove your rocker boxes and rockers you can reuse your parts.if not cut old pushrods and install adjustables.
