Is anyone one scrapping the road with there bags?

I have the extended bags with the arnott air shocks. When I ride my friends tell me that my bags are very close to the road on turns. Just curious to know if anyone is actually dragging there bags in turns, and what was done to prevent the dragging. Thanks

I know several folks with extended saddlebags who drag the bags in the turns. To help protect the bags when they do drag you can purchase skid plates that attach to the bottom, outside edge of the bag. The ones I have seen are only about 1/8" thick so they aren't really noticeable on the bike. Below is a link to a set that Bad Dad manufacturers but my guess is that a person could probably make their own relatively cheap.

Hope this help!
