Saddlebag latch handle

Anyone have the handle latch fall off of their saddlebags? Mine did! It came off in my hand, I still have the latch, but tossed it in the bag and closed the lid. Now I cannot open it!! Maybe it's locked without a handle? Help!!

Well that's not good but I think you could get a screw driver in there and get it open. Take the other side off so you can look at it get an idea what you will need. There is a very small bolt that holds the lever on and it's probably in the bottom of the bag.

Thanks Tom, tried that, but still cannot get her open. Bike is almost new; shouldn't happen! Looks like I'm off to the stealer for their opinion!!

I would think if you take it to the dealer they should have another handle to get it open with there. If the bike is fairly new this should be under warranty and it should be repaired no questioned asked.

One thing about it it gives everybody a heads up to check that little bolt.
