Starting the search for a new touring seat for my '15 glide, want something that the wife and I can ride comfortably all day. Mustang, Harley, CCRider, Saddlemen etc. etc. I know it's subjective for everyone, just curious what works for you? Thx

I use the H-D Sundowner seat. The pillion is wider for the passenger. Both rider and passenger have more padding for the long haul or a short day trip comfort. Have had it for the last 16k miles and no complaints yet.

I got a Harley seat mainly because of the price. I really can't see paying $800. for a seat. Got mine for 400.00.

Good Morning! I recently purchased a used 2016 street glide with the HD low seat. It became uncomfortable after about a hour in the saddle and I was thinking about new seats but did not like the $800 price.

Did a you tube search for installing gel seat pads and purchased a 1 inch square gel pad off amazon for about $35.00. Followed a you tube video for installation and I am very happy with the results. I can go about 180 miles before I need to walk a bit and that is about the range of my fuel tank so I am happy.

Seat cover re-installation was real easy because I have a cordless Ridgid Staple gun. I would highly recommend a electric or cordless staple gun over a manual stapler.
