I own a stock for the most part 2017 Street Glide Special Crushed Ice Pearl and the only thing I have really done to it when I first bought it was put RC Component slip-ons on it and higher bars. Then three years ago I took out the cat out of it and they put a Vance an Hines cross over in its place, still didn't change the sound much. So as you can see, still pretty much a stock bike. I have roughly 30k miles on it and wanting to know what upgrades other folks would suggest.
I know I am probably going to finally do an update to the radio which has never been done and then add some better speaker and a amp as well.
But looking at what type of exhaust would you all recommend? I used to own a 2001 Superglide Sport that had the V&H drag pipes on it and I loved that type of sound. I also heard some nice Rhineharts at one point in time. I also have heard Cobras which just did sound good to me.
Then I am also wondering about suspension since I still have the stock shocks on mine. An with this I also pull a small fiberglass trailer every so often so, was thinking about reaching out to Progressive to see what they had to offer. Does anyone suggest anything different?
I have changed out my seat from the stock to a Mustang which is what I had on my old bike and loved it, but this time I hated it and it came off within the first month I had the bike, so I bought another through HD which is what I have now and really do not have any issues. Maybe one day I will look into buying one from "Ultra"... So, as you can see just looking for a little advised. Thanks
