slight shake

So I took a ride this weekend and I noticed a slight shake in the handlebars at medium speed. It was not noticeable if I held on to the handlebars with both hands. It was not strong enough to move my hand really if I had only one hand one the bars. I also noticed a slight humming noise if I pushed on the left bar like at the start of a lane change. Not all the time or if I turned just at the start of a turn or if I changed from a part of the lane I was in to another part.

Anything I should be looking for? I am under warranty so I will be taking it to the dealer I am just looking for some input.

Have the dealer check the wheel bearings. A few on here have had them go bad. Is your air pressure correct? Is the tire cupped?

Wheel weights? I was on my way to Sturgis last year and got some pretty bad front end shakes. Come to find out all my weights were missing from front wheel.

Happened to me one time. Culprit? Front tire pressure low!

I just had the exact thing going on. If I took my hands off the bars at low speeds it had a bad wobble but felt nothing with hands on the bars. Then when I leaned one way or another at high speeds I got a bad humming noise. I had about 15K on the original tires. I planned on buying tires this year so when I took it to the dealer I told them what was going on they checked the wheel bearing and everything was good there. Put the new tires on and the low speed wobble is gone and the high speed humming when leaning is also gone. They told me the front tire was cupped pretty bad.

Thank you, I guess time to look into the tire threads. If the dealer does not stand behind tires with 6k on them at least partially, I will not be buying from them.
