Anyone know where I can find a luggage rack for my 16 with a solo seat? Every where I look all I find is racks that go up to 15. Nothing 16 or 17. Did Harley make changes to the fender or mount that makes the racks for 15 and earlier not fit?

If it will fit a '15 it will fit all the way up to an '18. No frame changes. Just be aware that different solo seats have different mounting designs so the rack will have to be compatible with your seat.

I have not seen a luggage rack that fits anywhere other than the 4 point docking station which is behind the passenger seat. So I'm not sure why it would matter what your solo size is you end up with a gap from the seat to the rack

Both Harley and Motherwell, just to name two, make racks to go with solo seats and there is not a gap.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2019 Street Glide and was very interested in the Motherwell solo rack until I read that it only supports 10lbs. I am getting ready to go on a 2 week trip and need to find a rack that will support more than 10lbs and is compatible with a solo seat. Has anyone loaded the Motherwell with more than the rated weight? I am planning on using a waterproof duffel bag and expect the weight to be around 20lbs, any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks.

you should be fine with that set up on the motherwell rack
i mount my t bag in front of the sissy bar resting on the fender rack it weighs about 30 lbs at times
I have never had a problem doing it that way
