Well, the answer to that is YES it will fit in the Rushmore bikes. I've been playing around with this to see if I could make this amp work in the 2014+ bikes. Not sure how many people saw my post thanking John from J&M for selling me a cable that nobody else has, but I also bought the rear speaker to amp input cable and their 2014+ amp mount. I originally thought I could get this amp to work another way, but the only way it would fit was upside down and it looked like crap that way.
So today the amp mount arrived, this morning I prepped the bike by taking the stock black tray out that's above the radio, rearranged some wiring and got to installing the new mount. To get this mount in you'll have to remove the fairing vent, 2 screws and it slides out. Install the mount, then install the inner mount. The amp is held on with a couple pieces of velcro, which as an added bonus raises the amp very slightly and the Ground wire no longer rubs the mount.
I'm adding lid speakers as well, haven't found a rear speaker harness I was happy with, so I did some research and found some Deutch connector kits (you need both receptacle and plug) and wire sleeve and will make my own.
My lids will be at the painters another week or two, once everything is installed I'll post up a video like Spazz made.
So without further blabbering, here's the pictures of the amp installed.
