Do any of you have the lids that have speakers in them? I was wondering if they are waterproof or not? Does water get in the bag during rain, or is it drained externally? Also, what about wiring- does it prevent removal of saddlebags? Or, is there some quick release wires or something like that?
Just curious. I saw some recently and those questions came to mind.

Hit up BaggerJay... he has lid speakers on his 2014 SGS and his sled sounds awesome! They have to be waterproof since they fire up at an angle and need to keep the bag contents dry

Yes- I have the j&m with 4 speaker system and 500w amp. Just got through riding thru
Several storms with heavy rain. I flipped the lids over and the water ran out. Mine has wiring on the inside with slack so you can remove the bags.

Hope that helps
