I've got a 2024 FLHX Street Glide (California)
I've got Rinehart DBX 4.5 Slip on exhaust and want to add the Extreme Wedge Air Cleaner and A Screaming Eagle Tuner.
But due to Frickin California EPA emissions I cant buy a Filter or tuner. Harley wont sell them for a California bike.
I was told by a Harley tech that the ECM will block a tuner. It's Vin registered as California emissions.
I can get a family member out of state to send me the Extreme filter but them I still can't tune it.
Any suggestions that wont void the warranty

That's weird. The H-D website shows that p/n 41001166A is for CA '21-'24 models of touring, trike, and softtails. But when i checked for any '24 model it showed that it doesn't fit any of them. I do have a question asked about this with H-D and I'll let you know what their answer is.

Try going here https://streetperformancetuner.harley-davidson.com/StreetTuner enter your VIN and see if any tuning calibrations come up. It takes a few seconds for the calibrations to load, so be patient. If cals do come up, you should be able to use the SE tuner.

Did you go to the Screaming Eagle software download page and enter your VIN to see if they have any calibrations for your bike?

And no, I haven't seen anything about either tuner for a Cali bike yet.

Better yet, have your friend that you sent a copy of the EO to purchase one for you. But tell the dealership that it's for a '21 Streetglide. Both Old Town and Riverside have it available.

So why would it be different. It says it fits the 21 and 22 Glide but 23 and up it does not

That code is the calibration ID. There should have been a little + sign there also. Click on the +, it will expand and list what components it's for. Something like this.

I just downloaded the PC software and checked the software version revisions. The last update was on 03/06/2025 and it includes 2024 50 state center cooled touring bikes. Which yours is a 2024 center cooled Street Glide.

If you have a Windows laptop, I'd download the software and open it up, click the set-up button then the software button. That will put you at the top of the latest revision where then you will scroll down about ⅝ of the page to locate the 2024 50 State Touring Center Cooled section. It lists 3 different cals of which the 117 is one of them.

Take your laptop to the dealership, show the parts monkey, then tell them to go pound sand and give you what you're asking for.
