I just had a dyno done on my 2014 streetglide. I have the new SE stage III 110 kit with the 585 SE cams. The bike runs awesome and pulls all the way out. My question is what do you think about my numbers for what I have. I also have V&H true duels, Reinhart 4" slip ons, and Arlen Ness inverted Air cleaner. It is night and day compared to before. Now I know people can inflate numbers on the dyno and I have seen better numbers out of this kit so why do you think mine are where they are? My shop told me he would give me true numbers and would not fudge the numbers just to make me happy which I liked. I am not looking to hear about how I should have went with a different kit or how much better after market parts are..... I have what I have and that was my choice. On my way home yesterday I hit 85mph in third gear at about 5000rpm and it had more but I backed off. So do you think the numbers are right for what I have? 20160420_182516.jpg

Hp numbers seem good, torque number seems a little low, but if you're happy who cares what the dyno number is

Who cares what the numbers say what's it feel like in the seat and are you happy with it.

That's all that counts really.

Well if that's the case then I am very happy! But do you guys think there are a lot of over inflated Dyno numbers out here?

Looks perfectly good to me.

Yes, there are lots of inflated dyno-run numbers out there.

I think you have good numbers. It's producing max hp around 5200rpm, which in my opinion is exactly what you want for a daily rider HD. If you were building a track bike you would be looking for higher top end numbers at the higher rpm ranges. I bet you will find a lot of enjoyment in 2nd and 3rd gear through that 5k rpm range.

Numbers look right to me compared to my buddy's 110 numbers. His numbers were low at first at 88.9 rwhp and 104 rwtq. He wasn't happy with that and went back to the dealer and had them look into it. Turns out the wrong pistons were installed. They were changed out to 11:1 dome type and his numbers went up to 101.XX rwhp and 111.XX rwtq. He's happy with it, but did say that his previous 107 motor made 12 more rwhp and 9 more rwtq. Of course this was on two different dynos too.

My original runs back in February had me a couple of horses more than this Dyno, which is the most recent (dealer had Dyno shootout so I plopped down $20 to do it again).

This is the stage 3 110 kit, with rush head pipe and rush mufflers.

Is Stage III, just the 110 jugs, pistons, and cams? If so, the heads and throttle body are the bottleneck to making more power and torque. The SE 585 cams are the right choice for general riding as they are a torque grind and not a max horsepower grind.

From everything I am hearing it sounds like my main issue is my head pipe as far as true duels. From what I am hearing the numbers I have are pretty good for what I have as far as true duels. Can you really feel a couple horsepower and maybe 10 pounds of torque? Like I said it makes me very happy now and I feel it was worth the coin.

I'm unsure of what the Dyno read before the head pipe, but I remember a decent gain in both when they put it on. They called me at work and asked if they could slap on a rush head pipe they had that retains the HD heat shields to see what kind of power it can make. The torque had the biggest jump, the hp wasn't huge (maybe another 4-5?).

Also I am not looking for crazy numbers. I thought I would be around 119 torque and 105 hp. From what I have now and the increase a good performance head pipe can make it sound like that would make the difference? ?? Any suggestions for a good deep sounding head pipe to go with my rineharts?

Those would be a good choice, also I have heard good results from the s&s headpipe with the crossover in it

Pick your exhaust for the look and sound you want. They all can be tuned to run OK unless they are a really poor match for your motor.

Keep in mind, if your making 100 HP now and you put on improved pipes for a little more power, you will only notice it when you ask for more than 100 hp. If you do that a lot (throttle pegged, motor revved up, and bike is too slow) then go for more power.

Fuel moto, a sponsor for the forum, has a long list dyno sheets for various header and exhaust setups. Worth the look.

You're happy. That's what counts. Another dyno run with a different tech could give different results.

Actually that is what I am thinking of doing. Dr. Dyno comes to my area for americade in Lake George NY. I am thinking of making an appointment with him and see what he can pull out of the current set up.
