currently got stock mufflers on my 2017 Street Glide Special...
apart from it being the world's quietest Harley (aka stealth mode), I seem to have developed a blowing/rasping sound out of the right, rear of the muffler.
Doesn't seem to be a leak where the can joins the header, sounds like its coming from within the muffler on the exit
If I put my ear towards the back of the bike you can hear it, but any further forward, nothing.
Def not the left muffler.
I take it there is some form of wadding in them?
could something have moved/fell out ?
any way to cure apart from replacing (which I' plan to do next year)
TIA
