Street Cannon Baffle

Good afternoon all,
I finally found and picked up my 2014 Street Glide a few weeks ago. It was a much needed upgrade coming off the Sporty. I am not really sure why I waited so long. I already got a question for you all. It came with Screaming Eagle Street Cannons and Hi-Flow A/C. The Street Cannons are much quieter than I am used to. I had Vance and Hines slip ons on my sporty, and she sounded like a beast. At an idle, the cannons are quiet. Do they have a removable baffle that would give her a little more sound with out affecting the performance too much? That would be a much simpler fix than buying a new exhaust.
Thanks

Street Cannons are straight through mufflers with no baffles or louvers inside. Put on a cat-less head pipe to wake up the sound.

I have the same bike, with the stage 1 download and the cannons with the air cleaner. I like the fact it's quiet until I get on the throttle...then it wakes up....

Pretty sweet bike, you're gonna love it

When bought my 2014 SGS it had the factory headpipe with Street Canons and it sounded OK and performed OK...........I have since upgraded adding V&H Power Duals, SE HFAC and V&H FP3 and here is my feedback:

  • The sound is Much more aggressive and really Barks while under acceleration but not obnoxious at highway speeds
  • The performance is Crazy different (better and more responsive) from the stock set-up
  • Heat on right side is MUCH lower
  • Fuel mileage is down to about 10% from stock (Well worth it in my mind)

I think the SC's are very good pipes and the bike will perform very will with just a little more investment (~$1000) if you do the installation yourself and this stuff is very easy if you have even basic mechanical skills......especially the FP3 which is all but plug and play as long as you have a smartphone.

Sounds good. What do you think about the xied's vs. the fuel pack? I used them on my sporty and they seemed to work very well.

VIED's are good... but you can't compare it to the FP3 by any means. VIED's are a piggyback to trick the ECM for AFR enrichment. The FP3 give you a complete tune that is much more performance and efficiency across the board....
