Street Glide short antenna

I do not use the radio that much and I find the stock antenna to be pretty long and annoying. Does any one use Harley's short antenna and did you lose any signal reception? I might change it any way. Just concerned about loss of reception.

I used a shorty from Pep Boys, works fine.

You could do this and get the $2 plug for the hole, I have no issues with mine like this.
