Does anyone here sport a tank bag on their bikes? I'm thinking of getting one for my upcoming 3500 mile trip this summer and was wondering what your thoughts on that is.

I was looking for a bit of extra storage for trips also but did not want a tank bag.
I snared a couple of saddle bag guard bags off eBay (one each side) to snap on for trips. They are nice for water bottle, gloves, etc. I like them so much I just leave them n the bike. Very handy.

Yea, I have one of those bags on one of my guards....but like dlsorensen mentioned...a tank bag kinda reminds me of a "fanny pak"....I was just thinking of a place to keep some cold water bottles handy on those long road trips...maybe I'll figure out how to attach my soft lunch bag to my tank without messing my paint up.
