Tough to decide which reverse kit to go with!!

Finally narrowed down to Bakers reverse kit and Motor trike reverse kit. Bakers is $ 2000 + $ 800 installation. Motor trike kit is $ 1350 and a local guy here said he will install it for $ 300. Leaning towards motor trike and save some money. Problem is Motor trike kit is similar to Champion reverse kit. I've read several complaints from folks who have installed Champions. After the champion kit installation folks have complained about not finding 4th and 5th gear. Although I've not read any problems with motor trike kit.
