Unable to check for trouble codes with SE tuner connected

Has anyone with a SEPST encountered not being able to check trouble codes while your tuner is connected to the bike? I tried to check mine today and the gauge cluster will not go into DIAG mode.

I just disconnected the SEPST from the bike and was able to review trouble codes. Problem solved! I have now confirmed that you will not be able to review trouble codes via the gauge cluster with the SEPST connected to the bike. You must disconnect it first. No big deal, just FYI in case anyone runs into this minor issue.
