Used power vision?

Does anyone have an idea of where I could find a used power vision sans available license? I want to get one for use as a data display. The other (and more expensive) option is to go with Dakota digital gauges.

Doesn't the PV marry itself to the ECM the very first time it is used? If so, the only way to make it work would be to find someone with one for sale that has an M8 and swap your ECM for theirs when you make the purchase.

No it does not marry to the bike unless you change your tune with it. You can use it just to monitor the bike without marrying it to bike. No license needed for that. I have one and when I first got my street glide, I hooked it up to monitor the AFR. Later I decided to use it to change my tune so I bought a dual tune license from Fuel Moto. Now it's married to two of my bikes .

As much as all of these tuners cost nowadays, they should all come with at least two uses before they become locked. It is refreshing to hear that the PV can be used for monitoring without marrying itself to the ECM though.

Yea unlike the fp3, you can buy a new license for the pv. I thought there would be more of them floating around because of that (keep in mind a new license is $200) but I haven't found a used one.
