Off topic, but is there any worry about non 'marine grade' speakers being exposed to rain? I don't have a garage. Or even a covered spot for the poor girl.

They won't last long when rain hits them. If they have paper cones, they will be toast pretty quick. Most decent speakers don't use paper any more. The other concern is water getting into the coils and magnets. Marine grade speakers are sealed to prevent that.

Thanks roadwarrior. That's what I had figured but since the Kappas seem popular I figured I'd ask. Shucks. That means I'll have to spend more on tunes and probably won't get them before summer vacation. I've got other, comfort related, accessories that that are priority.
