Does adding a full exhaust system, heavy breather and a tuner such as power vision or FP3 invalidate your warranty?

Well... I have a good relatiinship with my dealership.. and I did my own... Pro pipe, SE breather and FP3. I have no worries. That being said... if something went wrong directly related to the mods, I would say they dont have to cover it... technically. If they did ALL the work... they will honor it no question.

Was just wondering if my 5 year extended warranty will be worth it.

Oh well hopefully I never find out. I just ordered my setup.

Well here is the thing it just depends. You could say I have had a little work done to my scoot now the dealership that did the work will honor it no prob the other local dealership I would say would cover it as well since they know me very well. But when I go long haul I could have a bit of a problem but should be ok. I would just never tell them about my motor work since you can't tell head work and internals have been changed from the outside.

I do most of my own and have a good relationship with dealer and Service mgr. But, It doesn't hurt to find out if there will be implications first before wrenching.

as most of us said... your relationship with the dealer could be the key to your qurstion...

Check with them... get a feel for their stand...
