What does a noob harley owner need to know

How waterproof is the 6.5" touch screen radio?
I'm paranoid about getting it and the speakers wet.

Mine sat out in a nice rain storm for two hours while I was at work, then rode home 30 miles in a constant rain. No issues...

Waterproof?
Hopefully project Rushmore got this right and at least made it heavily water resistant. I've had not problems as of yet with that (knock on fiberglass).

I'm not sure knocking on fiberglass works.

Hmmm I've soaked my sound system , no trouble for me

I've cleaned my bikes with window cleaner for years then wax for a quick clean

Never heard of the pledge trick , try it

Let s know of it works , I'll try anything twice :D

As far as a noob needing to know ?
Don't check your gas with a lighter LOL JJ

My best advice would be ride at your skill lvl , that will save you a lot of money AND hide

I once was told buy a service tech and a chevy dealership. To free the old school threaded steel inline fuel filters you should heat them with the torch..........

Is it normal for the front end to wobble at high speeds? On my journey to day I hit 90+ mph on the interstate and the front end stated to wobble a bit form the wind I'm guessing.

You should not feel any wobble at that speed in my opinion (riding solo). Make sure you have at least 38 psi in the tires. Head set bearing adjustment is another critical factor. I'll post the process.

I'm almost sure it was a wind issue pushing the fairing around. I was following a group of traffic and I was riding into a 15-20 mph head wind.

I went and bought a good tire gauge. I will check them after the bike cools down.

Lesson for today is. Don't call the dealer to schedule 1k service and aux light install on the Monday after a holiday. You will be on hold forever and then asked for your info so they can call you back.
