after you got your Street Glide?

Just curious what you all did. The first thing I did was add highway pegs and a rider backrest.

Dealer did passenger backrest & luggage rack before I picked it up. 2 weeks after having it wife said it's to quiet go get your exhaust!! So i did instantly!

Slip-on's and passenger backrest added by dealer when I picked bike up ordered luggage rack off of ebay the next day. Then LRS windshield a few weeks later

Headers to get rid of the cat...added slip-ons.... FP3 & intake ... 1st day...

Had the stage one with slip on's, passenger back rest, luggage rack, POS hidden antenna before I picked it up so highway pegs were the first addition.

Exact same scenario. My wife is from Storm Lake, IA. Maybe those girls know some good pipes when they hear em.

Well I would have to agree.....But with my scenario was i already did my research right after i got it cause i knew it needed to be louder!! I wish i would have done it slightly different but this was a less expensive route that wouldn't make her completely freak out! I do love the sound it has so not disappointed at all!! Maybe a change in the future to a V&H 2-1 Pro Pipe......

Well..........I bought the bike with 2K miles so it already had the 4 point docking hardware and street cannons installed based on this the first go round was:

  • Heated handgrips
  • Reduced Reach Handlebars
  • Corbin Dual Touring
  • Fit my old Tourpack with new bracket (only for 2-up trips)
  • LRS 8" windscreen
  • Dynamic Ringz (Fronts)

This got me in a good riding position with all the comfort things that I was looking for to be comfortable on the road as the factory power was already pretty good But.............

I couldn't leave well enough alone and the second phase was:
  • V&H Power Duals (Re-installed the Street Cannons)
  • SE High Performance A/C
  • FP3 Tuner
  • Floorboard extenders

Now that I've done a Stage 1 tune I can really feel the difference and I'm really looking forward to our 2 week trip around CA (Including NV and OR) this coming August!!!

Phase 1: I installed the following parts on my SGS before even riding it for the first time: V&H Dresser Duals and Blackout Rounds, Screamin' Eagle Ventilator Elite AC, FP3, bag guards, passenger floor boards, highway pegs, driver and passenger back rests with 4 point docking hardware, black headlight trim ring, JM Audio 250W 2 channel amp and Focal KRC 165 speakers in fairing.

Phase 2: Will consist of having a 30T pulley installed on Saturday if the weather permits and I'm done.
