What was the very first thing you changed/added/subtracted.....

Well lets see V&H slip on, docking hardware, sissy bar, luggage rack, stage 1 A/C before I left the dealership. Can't even remember everything since I go her home.

Since my tax return (aka the annual breaking of the piggy bank) hasn't arrived yet, it's a short list. With a long list of things to come

So far,
Docking points
Sissy bar
Clearview shield (ordered, not shipped)

To come, in no particular order
Highway pegs
Heel shifter delete
Bag guards
Back rest
Aux lights
Extra tail lights (location/style undecided)
Speakers and amp
Led or hid headlight
Led signals
Mirrors
Wards cooling fans

azglocker- regarding the headlight upgrade, check out the LED hi/low bulb set Fuel Moto is running on special here as a sponsor.

Ordered with:
Stretched CVO bags painted to match
Speakers in bag lids
Agitator front / rear wheels
Yaffe 12" Monkey bars
Painted to match inner fairing
Painted black bag reflector trim from chrome
4 point docking system
Passenger sissy bar
Stealth luggage rack
Boom stage 1 fairing/bag speakers and amplifier
Passenger floor boards
Highway pegs
Got home and removed fork reflectors

Coming soon:
Rush big louie 4" slip-ons
Screaming Eagle Agitator A/C to match wheels
V&H FP3
Gutting cat
LED front/rear/3 bar light
HID hi/low kit (would do LED but don't want to run passing lamps on a street glide. They don't look right. Not enough light output in corners with a single light running LED.)
Possibly upgrade front two speakers...again
Misc. chrome accents on motor and forks
Extended brake pedal
Extended shifter lever

On my way home from the dealer after taking delivery, l stopped at a friends house to show off the new bike. Asked him if he had some Allen wrenches. He dug some out and l promptly removed that nuisant heel shifter.

One other thing I did was turn OFF EITMS. Mine was cutting in at very low temps-haven't regretted it at all.

1) replace USELESS factory floppy windscreen with 12 inch clear harley windscreen
2) replace USELSSS factory hd head light with HD DAYMAKER
3) Add Saddle Bag Guards (in case of dropping bike) (lots of off road riding)
4) Adding 4 point and sissy bar this week.
5) Front Fork Fangs to reduce buffeting as per forum suggestion.

What was the very first thing you changed/added/subtracted.....

Back rest also and windshield to Memphis Shade

Full Stage I, passenger floorboards, 4-point dock, sissy bar and backrest, taller windscreen, before it ever left the dealer, followed by saddlebag lights, fork fangs, fairing vents, mid-frame air deflectors, Custom Dynamics LED turn signals, and a LED headlight.

I bought my FLHX used, it already had a HD Brawler solo seat and Rinehart slip ons, Kenwood stereo and the original owner had removed the engine guards. First thing I did was buy a HD Service Manual and a Mustang Vintage low down solo seat. The Brawler seat is made for tall riders and I am not tall. Next thing was to buy an engine guard to protect the bike in case of a fall over and a 6 inch LRS curved windshield.
