I missed this while I was there. But was in the Hill Country this past weekend and visited the Vanderpool, Tx Motorcycle Museum. Great old bikes. The owner (British) filled with a lot of BSA, Nortons, Indians, Harley, Triumphs.. Worth a stop.

yEA...ITS A great place to stop...they use to have good burgers there but now serve this crap call Australian beef pie....worst thing ever...go for the bikes and not the lunch

It truly is a "Must See" museum if you are in to vintage / race motorcycles. The cool thing about the place is that all of the bikes in there supposedly run and are not "just for show".

Been without cell service the last couple days, doing Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive.

Yes, it's well worth the trip to see, the bikes they have are amazing, and as Lindsey says most of them do run. They had 2 of them out driving around the property when we were there. You can spend the entire day there, especially if you stop and watch the videos they have playing.

The Best Western down the road was nice, and gives a military discount too.
