Yesterday I went on a demo ride on the Harley Davidson's. I rode a Ultra Limited, a Road Glide Ultra, and a softail Breakout 114. On the ride at 100kpm (60mph) I cranked all three bikes in 6th gear, then in 4th gear. After having this same thing to my 2015 Street Glide previously on the way to the demo ride, here is my humble opinion of the bikes. I did not feel a whole lot of difference in the Road Glide and the Ultra as far as power, there might have been a small difference in the ride but not a whole lot. The breakout was a different story, less weight and 11 more Cubic inches, that thing jumped at 100 even in 6th gear. The ride on the softail was great by the way. The Breakout is not an option for me, I have to have a fairing but would love to see a 114 and mono shock on a Street Glide.
My Street Glide is basicaly stock, Vance and Hines 450 Titan and FP3 tuner. They have a 2018 Street Glide Special in black on the floor and I'm talking to them, mostly because I like the look and they are giving me a fair price for my ride. But the extra power does not have me dancing on the ceiling (like Lionel Richie would say).
