WHAT!?!?!?

Yep... you heard me.... she is ALL ABOUT IT!!!! I am NOT!!!! I couldn't believe it....

I mean.... the ink isn't even dry on the title for my 2014!!!! SHEESH!!!!

No worries guys... I am NOT doing the deed..... unless its a CVO Street Glide... which is NOT gonna happen... LOL!

Really !!! the reason she want's a limited is it would be more comfortable for her "LOL"

Nah.....it's so she can have an intercom and talk while riding......the single biggest reason I have a SGS and NOT an Ultra :D

I was thinkin if she said 'go ahead' on this one... why not the CVO Street Glide.... of course the answer was no.. since it doesn't have a tourpak.......

details....

I would go with the CVO street glide. And add the king tour pak. They CVO's retain better resale.. Just my 2 cents.

I agree 110%... but she said NO to the CVO... even with a matching tourpak.... I don't understand!?!?! it's just a few more HARLEY BUCKS... LOL!

You know Spazz........they only offer color matched tour packs on CVO bikes that don't come with them for a couple of years and those make the bikes much more valuable in the future as we have seen in the past looking for a used CVO Streetglide............run that one by her, maybe it will work :D

I already did... the price added a few gray hairs to her head... she wasn't happy.... LOL!!!

You know.......after 31 years of marriage I'll say 2 things:

  1. She ALWAYS thinks new Motorcycles are too expensive
  2. She always ends up loving the new bike........eventually
I say just do it.....even if you have to sleep on the couch for a couple of nights in the end it will be worth it :D

Oh... I know.... but the old saying...

" Better to ask for forgiveness than permission"

Doesn't work well when you are talking about $40K + on a sled.....

Parts alone get me into trouble and usually less than $500 a pop... this would drive her over the edge.... AND OVER ME WITH THE TRUCK A FEW TIMES!

Brings to mind the following;

What's the Difference between buying a base bike and a CVO??

Answer: You can't buy a CVO one part at a time and have them shipped to a buddies house......lol

In the end we all spend as much or more on a stock bike by the time we get through only to have them worth much less when selling.....even if we add all the same stuff.....go figure:confused:

oh so true.... but that's what we do... it's expensive... but so much fun!!!

and we all know... it's not for investment-purposes.. LOL

Dude.....never confuse reality with the rationalization we all use to maintain marital bliss :D

She starts to catch after more parts keep showing up and the only excuse are:
- it will be comfortable for a long trip.
- these will be better, Harley uses cheap parts
