Any suggestions for wind reducing mods that don't spoil the sleek look of the Street Glide? I am 5'8" tall and am experiencing buffeting at speeds 70 km/hr plus. Not bad for short rides but when I get off the bike after a couple of hours, my head feels a bit rattled. I don't want to ruin the look of the bike.

I found that it is hard to achieve with the short windshields. I went with a tall one for my longer rides.

I haven't been but I plan to. I'm thinking anything over 100 miles I am going with the 8in.

Do you wear a helmet? Sometimes a helmet with exasserbate the situation. Your neck is not used to holding all that extra mass. Full face are probably the worst because they have all that side surface to catch air. I found that a shorter windshield that your head is completely over offers a better ride. Not so much protection, but less buffet.
I have a 10" recurve for long trips and a 6.5 recurve for summer time around the state. I also add the chrome lowers (oh yeah...they take some getting used to the way they look) for long rides. I found that when I put the 10 on it creates a vaccume behind the shield and I get more buffeting from under the tank and between the forks. The hard lowers take care of a lot of that.
At my age I'm a lot more interested in comfort than looking cool....but I do look cool in the summer time..LOL.
