I still have the stock headlight on my '14 SG (well I put an H9 bulb in place of the H11 for $5) and so far the cost etc. of the current LED options just have not tempted me in letting my $$$ leave me. But this one from Yaffe is actually something I'd like to buy.

Those are sweet but still a healthy chunk of change! I do think any investment in lighting front or rear is money well spent toward the goal of better visibility. If you do install the Yaffe light please post a review!

I see the JW Speaker 8700 Evolution LED on Ebay for 330$. A little cheaper and its plug and play. Need harness though.

Also check out Custom Dynamics for all kind of lighting options front and rear! Some really neat stuff!

Look at the HID kit from socalmotorgear.com you get everything you need in the kit and it's plug and play

I installed the dual bulb kit, hi beam hid and low beam hid. It arrived in 3 days and took me a little less than an hour to install. The kit is made for dual bulb headlights

Thanks, I'm impressed. I think this is the way I'm going to go. Saves money for other mods :).

My dealer quoted me over 800.00for the light kits and the daymaker lights I paid 165.00 for the HID kit I'm happy with them

I've got the HD Daymakers installed. Love them. Cost is worth every candela output. Since I've got them, 3 other guys I ride with now have installed them. It like a football field when we ride at night now. Will need our sunglasses at night.

I like that light. If I didn't have the daymaker I would def get that one.

I did order this. Where did you put the ballasts?

Thanks.

When I removed the headlight just inside the fairing on both sides there is room for them
. I used double sided tape before I used the adhesive pads for permanent install.

Ok, there was a lot of room on the right side (facing the bike) so I put both there. I do seem to have some interference on a few radio stations, but I don't listen to those stations.

Did you have any interference (I listen mostly using blue tooth which is totally fine)?

Didn't notice any but like you I Bluetooth to pandora. What do you think of the lights are you happy with them

Yeah, like you I mostly listen to pandora or AM radio where there was no interference at all.

VERY happy with them. I was even running a H9 bulb (which is the 60w high beam bulb) in my low beam. Before, next to my LED turn signals the headlight looked way yellow. Now the headlight looks more bright and white than the CD LED turn signals with clear lenses. I leave for work while it is still dark out so looking forward to a better view of the road now (once spring is here since and the horrible snow is gone).

One more question. That little black box (relay?) off the ballast did you stick that to the bike? I just tucked it in there with the other stuff seems light enough to not stick to something.
