What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

Put about 200 miles on after getting her cleaned up again. Had to start it all over again when I got home after killing another million bugs. Life is good and all flying bugs better watch out tomorrow lol. Tried a suggestion from a brother (Spazz) and the Lucas stuff really works.

Added rear extended fender. When air ride is all the way down is approx 1" off the ground. When all aired up in approx 6". Looks great with extended bags. Next up powder coat rear wheel to match 21" Hogtune front wheelIMG_0869.jpgIMG_0874.jpgIMG_0088.jpg

TomA- Just think how bad the US bug population would be if not for us ! ! !

Installed new Mid-Frame Air Deflectors.....hoping to cut down on some of the engine heat when in SoCal traffic and I can't split lanes....I didn't paint these, they are gloss black ABS but I'm thinking of pulling them and painting to match the bike. I couldn't get the top bolt on the right side in so I used a zip-tie....

Didn't do anything special but I did install the HD Streamliner heel and toe shifter pegs I got from Bulldog182. Thanks Bulldog they look great and a good price as well .

Had to clean her up after some good riding

T-Boned a cager that cut me off while I was doing 40. Flew over the handlebars but walked away with bruises and scrapes. What a ride!

Damn I'm glad your ok. I found a way to hide the antenna so it wont interfere with the rear wheel and still get good reception.

WOW happy your ok, bike doesn't look too bad but that really sucks.

Glad you are still suckn air. Bikes and parts and be replaced.

I started my 25K service today... head bearing is always a fun one! Might be doing cams and tuner soon... getting that itch, LOL!

Attached my garage door opener to my flash-to-pass switch....I used a 12v relay and attached that to the hi-beam wire (blue w/white stripe), soldered the switched terminal of the relay to the switch for the garage door opener. Now all I have to do is hit my hi-beams to open/close the garage door.

Glad you're ok SouthcoastSG....that front wheel looks like mine after I hit a pot hole here....

Local Dealer is booked out 2 weeks, so i did the fluid change for the 1k mile service.
Amsoil in the Engine & Primary
Bel-Ray 85w-140 in the trans.
Still gonna have them finish the 1k mile, because i need them to look at a small leak from the push rod tubes on the rear cylinder.

southcoastSG.....glad you are okay. Hope you're back on the road soon.

It was such a beautiful weekend I decided to remove my Tour Pack and convert back to a regular Street Glide. I took two 13 inch pieces of pipe foam insulation and lined the top of one of those plastic storage bins and my TP with quick 4 point take off fits in it perfectly with the bottom of the pack sitting on the foam. Oh yeah, the ride was spectacular too!

I took a really fine paint brush and a steady hand and got rid of the orange on the air cleaner. It's now red like my pin striping and calipers and what not.image.jpg
