Did a minor upgrade IMO.

Have a brother with a 2015 RG who has blacked everything out.
As we were admiring our bikes and having a few we came to the conclusion that his tank badge and mine would look better on the others bike. lol
Also decided no way would we get a new tank badge centered and level as it should be if we both were to buy replacement badges.
That being the case did the only thing two jarheads could think to do, we swapped tanks.
We both now have the tank badge we want didnt cost a penny and said badges are centered and level.

How much was involved with the Sirius install if you don't mind sharing! I'm thinking about going that route since for some reason my iPod shuts off randomly while riding.

My IPod did that to, found out if you charge it up the night before, it doesn't do that anymore.

well didn't get to ride it for a week and today was nice so I took it to do a few errands and when I was getting ready to go I unlocked the handlebar lock and went to turn it and it wouldn't turn. This is the second time it has done it and the dealer checked it out last time and said it was fine. so when I got it un stuck I took it to the dealer and they are now ordering me a new lock assembly, but it's going to take 2 to 3 weeks to get.

Changed my oil in all 3 holes. Mobil 1 v twin plus filter cost about $70 after tax. Bike got a free wash thanks to some unexpected rain, now I just need to get the dead bugs off her.

Now to figure out when my registration really expires. My papers say may 2017, plate tag says may 2016. If I don't have to register it this year I may be getting some slip ons!

I put quiet baffles in my V&H oversize 450 mufflers. I only took it for a short ride after but it don't seem to make much difference. Or maybe I expected too much.

I washed my bike with soap and water...dried everything and sprayed it down with P40.....

Got all set up to do a wash, detail and install of passenger boards.. Then wife hauled my ass to homedepot.. Planted flowers and assembled patio furniture as plan B.. Sure liked plan A better

Managed to sneak a 2 hour ride in between thunderstorms today. Nothing to adventurous but any time is good. Got to really eat out my new progressive shocks which I'm really digging ove my old air shocks.

So I was riding down the street in Long Beach and I heard this clanging sound, saw a flash of chrome off to my right...wondered WTF?....turned in the seat just in time to see my headlight bezel lying on the street and getting run over by the car behind me. I pulled over and went back to get it....didn't quite smash it like a pancake....its pretty tough. So I called Huntington Beach HD and they have several in stock. Is this a common part to just fall off? Dang....
