What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

Mounted my freshly upholstery for the stock seat and backrests. Also the shape of the stock seat of the 2014 FLHX changed somewhat. Snake style upholstery. Very happy with it. Done quick and dirty pictures with the iphone

Best regards from Holland

Just finished up installing a J&M Rokker AMP and speakers upgrade. Gonna go wash my mouth out with soap from all the cussing

Installed an Ultracool oil cooler on 2015 SGS. Those 2 little fans are powerful as hell. They push a lot of air.

That's awesome. I was talking to the guy who makes the wards fcs fans and he had a custom made fan on his. I'm really thinking of putting a different oil cooler on to add fans. I need all the cooling I can get!

I've been taking it easy on my bike. Found one of the sissy bar latches broken (the spring loaded piece was missing) and my left muffler is hitting the support. I'm going to add washers to give it some more clearance.

I scored a home run ($$) on a 2017 CVO Streetglide seat and pillion today!

Got a half helmet from my friend since he sold his bike. Despite my cold and attempts to cough my lungs out, I had to go ride. Good God my stereo sucks! I know it's not the responsible thing to do but I just want to put a new stereo on my credit card so I can be done with this crap.

I also hooked up the halos for my passing lamps. And finally got some beam shots in a dark parking lot to compare my LRS lights to the stock light.

2015 Street Glide Special

Finally got the time to change out the plugs and wires, Holy **** the front wire is a pain in the ass! No matter what I tried tilting the back of the tank up turned out to be the best choice.

I did the 1K service myself and discovered 2 neat things about the new M8 motor:
1. Oil and Tranny drain plugs are both on the left side 3 inches apart.
2. No longer have to fight with the Crank Sensor when removing the oil filter.

Crank sensor is completely gone from the former 5 O'clock Twin Cam position and all three fluid drain plugs are spaced closed together on the same side now. Derby cover gasket and oil filters are same as Rushmore models. The new oil dipstick is a one piece now, no more swivel stik.
I figured I'd save myself $300 plus doing it myself and spend that on my CVO seat (posted below).

Added Rush 7017 High Output ceramic headers. I had a about 3 decel pops during a test ride so I went for another auto tune with the FP3. Got 72 cells learned and finished it. I'll probably do another new auto tune when I get more time. See if I can populate more cells next time.

I installed my auxiliary lighting kit on my M8. It was easier than on my 12 but I did have one problem. In one of the turn signal sockets the plate for the connections was turned just enough so that the connections weren't made to the bulb. I had to stick a screw driver in the hole and depress and slowly turn the plate until it was in the correct position. When you have a sticker price or $429 you shouldn't need to make adjustments like that.
