I put the H-D Auxilliary Lamp Kit p/n 67800367 on my 2014 SGS (lamps and bulbs are not included).

I'm just as much interested in being seen during the day as seeing well at night. I noticed that the new LED lights (and white lights in general) don't show much during the day. Here is a photo of the Truck-Lite Phase 7 headlamp on during the day. At this angle it does not show hardly at all.

I read a couple articles about yellow lights helping visibility: Yellow Bulbs and Selective Yellow
I ordered a pair of Adjure Passing Lamps p/n T40314 from Amazon. They are made out of glass & metal and use H3 halogen bulbs. They have a metal black dot bulb shield inside which is needed to prevent glare to oncoming traffic. Adjure Lamps
flash and regular exposure

I bought three 55 watt H3 bulbs: Clear, Golden Yellow, and Extreme Yellow

I projected a single passing lamp onto my home theater projector screen and photographed the light with my Nikon SLR. I used manual settings so all three pictures (one with each bulb) were exposed the the same. I combined the photos into one image to compare them. Clear on top followed by golden and yellow on the bottom.

All three colors are also available for the stock 2014 headlamp which uses a 65 watt H9 high beam bulb and a 55 watt H11 low beam bulb. I believe all three colors are legal in the passing (fog) lamps. A yellow headlamp is not legal in most states. MTEC claims the golden lamp is "100% suitable for car inspection".
When looking into the lamps from the side the Extreme Yellow is very yellow. The Golden Yellow looks between white and yellow as you might expect.
I will try the Extreme Yellow bulbs in the passing lamps, the Golden Yellow in the low headlamp beam, and a clear bulb in the high headlamp beam for maximum distance vision. With the 2014 SGS all four bulbs can be on at the same time.
