Rain is the best time to ride. You don't have to worry about the heat.
And you don't have to pay for the water to take a shower.

When I started it up to come home from work it sounded horrible rod knock. Until it had oil pressure.

That is good that it is in the helmet.
That is strange. Mine does not do that. If I start it up and jump on it right away it is a little sluggish and a pain to shift. Generally I start it and sit there for a minute to put on my gear and annoy my wife.
This morning was the first time I have heard the rod knock while waiting for oil pressure. I also start it and put my gear on while it warms up a bit.

So I'm a bit up set with the dealer I bought the scoot from. I had them install a black daymaker LED headlight at the time of purchase. They charged me $609 and $80 for install. I now find I could have picked it up for $319 on Kutters parts site.
I'm not pissed about the install charge but I'm up set with the $290 over charge on the bulb.
I might go back there and see if I can get a in store credit.

So since I bought the FLHXS it takes me for ever to get anyplace since I decide to take the long way to everywhere. LOL. I had to go to the hardware store the other day it's 6 miles away 86 miles later I arrived at my destination.

So yesterday I'm cruising around and even though I know how to get where I'm going I decided to see what the nav had to offer only to find out the map software is out of date. The particular hwy I was on was reconstructed to bypass a small town 2-3 years ago and the new hwy was not on my nav screen. WTF? Why would a bike I bought last weekend come with out Of date nav software.
I know it's not a huge deal but come on the software should be up to date when on a brand new bike the was revived and assembled the same week it was bought.
