10" bars and mirrors

Welcome to the forum. Most bar changes will render those fairing mirrors useless. Once you have the bars on you'll have a better idea.
If you need to remove them just take off the outer fairing and remove the nut that holds them on. Then you can plug the hole with something.
There are some posts here that show what some of the guys used to plug the holes with.

10" bars will definitely make mirrors useless as bars will be in the way.....depending on your budget there are many after market mirrors to choose from.....just do your homework so you won't go through hardship like some of us have trying out different mirrors...I went through 3 mirrors before settling for HD Edgecut mirrors.
There is a spacer that lowers the factory fairing mirror so that you can use it with the taller bars.
Thanks slingshot383! Is this spacer a HD part or aftermarket? Do you have any other details or experience with it's effect?
I searched for this aftermarket adapter and found one called Pingel fairing mirror drop brackets.....for the price no wonder people are going with handlebar mirrors instead.

NO KIDDING ON THE PRICE.....THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!! But I guess it is an option, just not mine.
