Thinking about 13" schocks looking for more travel and comfort but am wondering about handling differences also will i be able to see the 1" difference in ride height ? Or will a 12" upgrade be a big enough improvement? Thought?

I have the 13 Ohlins on both my Streetglide and my Roadglide and you can not see the extra inch by looking at it but enormous difference in handling from stock not to mention the additional clearance before scrapping the pegs.

I'm trying to find out how far up we can go on ape hangers on our 2009 streetglide without having to redo our cables

I installed the 13 Ohlins on my 2016 SGS a month ago at 6200 miles. I have a 31 inseam, and both feet are flat on the ground with knees bent. I "think" that I can tell it is slightly higher when I'm sitting on it, but when I'm off it and look at it I cannot tell. Nobody has asked if my bike is higher, so they can't tell either. I would select the 13" if I were doing it again, no regrets. Just as Old Mike and 2017 SG said, big difference. No back/teeth jarring hits, and handles great. The bumps in the road that use to wake me up are hardly noticed now.

Thanks for the replys guys all good information. Im not worried about reach should not have a problem reaching the ground. I also have a 31" in seem. Is it true the Europe version of street glide comes with 13" schocks ?

I too am looking to upgrade the rear shocks on my '14 SGS. Ive read somewhere that people are running air shocks purchased from amazon for around $300 and have had really good results.

I installed a set of Legends Revo-A 13" shocks to the rear of my 2014 SG. It made a great improvement over the stock air shocks. It rides like a whole new bike. Although I was hoping for an improvement, it far surpassed my expectations. I went with the 13", but with the sag set at 12" I sit at basically the same height on the bike as before. Just a much smoother ride, without the harshness. I don't tense up when I see a bump in the road that I can't avoid.

I went with Super Shox they are 13" still set like a 12" shock and the ride is excellent. They are very easy to adjust look great not that you see them on the Street Glides. They will build to you specs. I almost took my 2016 back when I rode it home it rode so bad until it had about 4-500 miles on it. Good luck with what ever shock you pick there are a lot of good ones out there.

Whats the cost for supershox? I'm waiting to hear back from them..Dont know the big marketing deal with not publishing their prices..

I don't remember what I paid. I called and talked to the owner, he was helpful and gave me a price at the time. I do know they were competitive with other quality shocks.

I ordered the HD772 which is the 13 inch in the blackline series, the bad part about it is Ohlins was closed for the month of August, excepted ship date is 10/13/2017, I ordered them from one place, they found out after I called to see where there at? so they refunded me, I called Computrack Boston, there website has them for $850.00, and you email them for better price, they come back with $765.00, so he ordered them for me with charging, as soon as there ship he will charge me, really wanted them for a trip to Maggie Valley in September:(
