2014 Ignition Switch Question

Hey....new owner of 2014 Street Glide. When I turn the switch to Fork Lock (far right) the stereo and dash lights come on. Turning the key to lock does not turn them off, and the fork does not lock. How do I lock my bike?

That is not normal. I would take it right back to the dealer and have them check it out.

Are you sure you're not turning it to Accessory? That would explain why the radio and dash lights are on.

Bones- You may have a sheared lock pin, take it back to the dealer for service (When weather allows).

Lock is also FULL LEFT, not RIGHT,.., forks should be FULL LEFT... not RIGHT....

If the ignition switch was not installed correctly from the factory or if the dealer had removed and reinstalled the switch incorrectly it may be misaligned. There is a special tool to align the switch. I'd check back at the dealer and have it taken care of!
But before you do anything read your owners manual and make sure you are following proper procedure.

I just spoke to dealer. I have misunderstood switch and manual. The mark above fork lock, etc need to be at the top to make selection. I am at work , but will try it tonight. Thanks to all for your replies.

I've never had a switch like the one on the Street Glide. Plus I have occassional battles with "lysdexia". I got home and went straight to my bike, and looked at the switch from a different perspective....and all is good. I have read about recalls, and just knew I had bought a problem. Thanks y'all for the advice. Now....how about fixin' the problem with the weather.

Glad it's all working out! It's hard to diagnose someone else's problem not being there but we tried. Coupl more beers and I'm positive you would have had the handle on the issue!
As for your weather......I can only dream of having it as baby butt nice as you have it! LOL!
