2016 Street Glide Special gear issues

Hey there everybody. I’ve been trying to investigate a shifting issue in my 2016 SG. When Im riding in the city its no problem but when on the highway you can clearly see the issue. Anything I throttle hard, to pass a vehicle or just speed up, the bike shifts 1 or 2 gears down, and RPM’s go up. Its very noticeable and visible by looking at the dash indicator. Has anyone else had or heard of this issue?

Does this happen on its own or are you shifting and it double down shifts? Weird though, I've never heard of this.

It happens on its own. The first time it happened, I thought I missed a gear then it happened again and again. Ive read several forums saying clutches or ECM. I’m dropping it off to the Harley dealership next week.

Shifter pawl maybe worn out. Let us know if the diagnosis when you can.
