Hi all

I only have 1300KM on my bike however in first gear when slowing down and coming to stop let's say at a light the rear brake squeal is embarassing. Any suggestions on how to fix this? What I should ask the dealer to look at? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Thee may be some dirt or particles trapped between the pads and rotor causing the noise. Get a can of brake and parts cleaner and spray the rotor and the caliper between the brake pads and see if that takes care of the squeal.

Mine does the same. Took it by HD and they popped the caliper off, looked at the pads, disc, etc, then cleaned everything good and put it back together.

It ran totally quiet for a few days then the squeal came back. When I get time I’ll take it back. It still works great.

I have discovered on mine though.. that when it squeals all I have to do is put a bit of pressure on the front brake lever and it stops. Makes me think it’s got something to do with the linked brake system?
