I have a 2014 Street Glide Special that I took out for a short ride this past Sunday, as I was riding down the road at 65 the front brake applied on its own with the hand grip hard. I was able to quickly get it to the shoulder and the front wheel wouldn't turn. No ABS indicator or activation. After sitting for 5 minutes I throttled up and forced the bike to move onto a side street and as I did that the brake released and the hand grip feel of the brakes went back to normal and I was able to ride the bike home. Has this ever happened to anyone and what may have caused this issue. I'm going to trailer the bike to the dealer next week for a diag and possible repair.

When was the last time the brake fluid was changed? And was the ABS properly cycled to push the old fluid out of its chambers? As far as it cycling on its own, that's a new one on me.

Glad that you able to safely get it off the roadway and home.
