Well, our sheet metal union at the national level spends a lot of money on the dumbocrat campaigns. Really pisses me off.
Our local 18 is so company friendly that when a member has an issue the first words from the union are "management rights". I think unions had their place 20 years ago. Not any more. They are becoming more company friendly to keep their own jobs that they are forgetting who pays them.
The other side of the coin is that there is no way I could trust my employer to do the right thing. There would be zero security by us with out it. Damn shame.

It's the same way where I'm employed. The plant manager likes to walk up to ppl and tell them trained monkeys could do your job better.
