Hey, all...

Does anyone have any pics of the Arlen Ness Big Sucker on their '14? I'm told they have a different look than previous years but can't really find any good pics of them on the bike. Time to compile some parts to install in the spring and number two on my list is swapping out my SE (in the stock housing) air cleaner.

Another candidate and my favorite is the high flow assembly from www.fuelmoto.com It uses the stock cover which mates to a backing plate and looks almost stock in appearance.

Best

Blues

Thanks, Blues. To be honest, I'm trying to get away from the stock AC look in this swap.

I have the stage 1 on my '14. I don't have my cover on yet though. I'm having one made. By the way, the stock cover won't fit.

I have big sucker with chrome backing. Will post a pic later. Stock outside cover does fit on mine.

Are you getting rid of this because you want a different look, or do you feel that it is lacking in air flow as compared to aftermarket units? Just wondering as I am considering this setup. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm looking to get away from the stock look. Plus, from what I'm hearing, the Big Sucker is pretty much second-to-none when it comes to air flow which is also a goal.

Just wanted to put in my .02 worth on the Big Sucker... I have a post on here about my hardship with this setup on my 2012..... I was having oil flowing out of it on multiple occassions. Dealer couldn't find anything wrong except they told me that these are notorious for this.... long story short i went with the SE Heavy Breather to stop this. Dealer also did some other things to try to prevent it from happening again but i went ahead and bought the heavy breather also... I will try to find my post and copy it to here....
Here it is>>

Ok Final Update:..... Picked up the SG tonight. I went ahead and bought this A/C: Part # 29253-08B. AFTER they did the work that they did.... This is what my dealer performed on my issue.

CLEANED AIR CLEANER UNTIL DRY, DISASSEMBLED ROCKERS AND BREATHER ASSEMBLIES. DRILLED OUT
BREATHER TUBS AND INSTALLED NEW BREATHER ASSEMBLIES. REASSEMBLED BIKE. TEST RODE. RAN GOOD
AND NO EVIDENCE OF BREATHER SUMPING.
PERFORMED COMPRESSION AND LEAKDOWN TEST. COMPRESSION WAS GOOD AT 200 PSI AT BOTH
CYLINDERS AND LEAK DOWN WAS LESS THEN 10 PERCENT ON BOTH CYLINDERS.
Now weather is very rainy for next couple of days so won't be riding till saturday or sunday. I hope with the new air cleaner assy i at least won't see oil covering my entire filter in less than 1000 miles.
So if anyone is interested in buying an Arlen Ness Big Sucker with about 6000 miles for CHEAP shoot me a PM.
Thanks again everyone that chimed in on my issues!!
Scott

Hmm... ok, I'll have to think about that. I'm wondering if things have changed for the '14's.

I have the AN Big Sucker on my 14 and no issues. Ran the same system on my other bikes without any drips.
