Boom Box Software No Longer Supported?

Hi,
it's over a year since the last update for my (2016) infotainment system

Is it fair to say this version of the hardware is no longer supported? All the effort has gone to developing and maintaining the new 2019 MY GTS version presumably.

I feel the same way about this. If you log on to Fatheadcycles.com they have a perfect replace with wiring harness and you just bolt in that has apple car play that is the direction I am going

Another failure the motor company is making and will give more reason for the bad attitude people have for them. They should be supporting the system they sold even if it is junk.

I know Harley! Just wait. I bet by next year the new system will be able to be retrofitted on older bikes. They are not going to pass up on this as it will generate huge revenue for the dealers.

They have already missed out on upgrading the older bikes (At least for me) unless they do it really cheap. You can replace with the Sony head unit it's a lot cheaper and has more reliable functionality.

Nope. They would rater sell you an entire new bike in order to get the new electronics.

It looks good, however, you lose the factory GPS on the Street Glide Special. That's OK only if you have a cell data connection.

Sygic GPS may be the first offline GPS program that works with CarPlay. I might consider the Sony head unit then.
