I cleared everything off the thumb drive prior to downloading the update.
The update is the only thing on the thumb drive.
Do not download it to the thumb drive, download it to your PC then transfer the ISO to a newly formatted thumb drive.

Make sure nothing else is on the flash drive... only the iso file
I have other files on my flash drive and I had no problems updating my 4.3 today.
........I would've found a way to make fluid leak somehow during this software upgrade had I not clicked on this thread.

1. Format the thumb drive again.
2. Right click on unzipped ISO file and send it to thumb drive.
3. Put bike in accessory, bring up audio (radio) page and plug in thumb drive. Let it run, (about 7 min.)
FYI, I'm reading other forums where there is a problem with NAV software 9.10.14.306105 and the 1.18.1 update. If you install the update with the 306105 software, you may lose all NAV maps. Blank screen with only the bike icon showing. Can anyone confirm this here?
